The International Journal of Urban and Regional Research features an online lecture series. I just watched a stimulating talk by Matthew Gandy on Entropy by Design: Nature, Landscape and the Late-Modern Metropolis. Professor Gandy has an impressive list of publications, with a distinct focus on nature in the city. His work has important implications for urban studies, including the research projects conducted within the framework of the Master of Applied Anthropology at Macquarie University.
