A change of look

We’re trying out a new theme for the blog.  The main reason for the change was to move to three columns so that we give the “in brief” section more prominence.  As a blog hosted on the WordPress.com system there are only limited options to customise the site, and I’m not sure the header meshes all that well with the new theme.   You might be seeing some more changes in the near future if I work up the energy to design a new header image, but I guess this will do for the time being.
